Andrew
How to change avatar? I go to my profile, hover around avatar, "change" pops up, and only says can upload photo. Where Dune avatars?
Gobalopper
It was a change in IP Board code that doesn't let you have an avatar gallery any longer. I've been looking for a module or something to add the functionality back but haven't found anything yet.
Andrew
Is it possible in the meantime to have a zipped file that contains all the avatars and available to download by forum members? That way they can download and choose what they want and upload to their profile.
Nyerguds
It seems you can't mark the leftover link of a moved thread as Read simply by clicking it. There's no way to mark it as read besides clearing the entire forum section's Unread statuses.
MrFlibble
Is it possible to permanently disable the advanced WYSIWYG text editor? Other forums that run off the same engine as ours have an option in the profile settings, but I can't seem to find it here.
Andrew
Hey Gob, can you list what filetypes are allowed? It doesn't say when trying to upload anything.http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/documentation/index.html/_/documentation/administrator-control-panel/forums-tab/post-attachments-attachment-types-r394
Davidu
Also the forum downloads section is broken. When i go to http://dune2k.com/Downloads/ the downloads work, but when I go to http://forum.dune2k.com/files/ they don't. And it's a bit annoying because the Dune (I) game music is only on the forum downloads. Thanks in advance :)
Andrew
Since I don't think the forum software has avatars anymore, I found links to what I submitted before.http://users.eastlink.ca/~sherrya/jihad/avatars.html

MrFlibble
I've also noticed that smileys are not displayed correctly in pre-upgrade posts.
Gobalopper
I've enabled some CDN features that may or may not speed up page loading. It will mean the CSS, images, and JS will come from another server which will decrease the resources needed by the forum server. There might be some issues with caching things for to long so let me know if you see problems with it. Hey Gob, can you list what filetypes are allowed? Davidu
Gob, what about some "spoiler" function, in order to avoid huge walls of text or too many pictures? A "spoiler" tab appears in the post and if you click it it will open its contents.

X3M
That would help me a lot. I have many tldr topics. It might let people read again. Edit: Why post 3 times?
MrFlibble
Edit: Why post 3 times?Must have been some forum interface malfunction, fixed that by deleting the extra posts.
Gobalopper
It already has one: This is a spoiler. If you are in the visual editor it is the third button in the top left. And for the basic editor it is .

Gobalopper
Server went wonky this morning. Rebooting seems to have fixed the problem.
Beonid
Wow, it's been awhile! A question about the Emperor mods you used to host, Gob - they aren't in the Downloads section of the forum, and I couldn't seem to find a thread that said they had been deleted. I don't suppose you have them squirrelled away somewhere?

Davidu
Gob, no way to title a spoiler? As in ... ?
Gobalopper
Not right now but I think it might be possible, I'll look into it when I get the chance. I've just upgraded the forum software to the latest version. I think the big thing they've worked on in this release are bugs with the post editor. If you have any problems be sure to first clear your cache.
