It's easy to come up with a story about something outside our realm and ask somebody to refute it. If I made a story about the Larxdoofs and put a bit of accurate history in it, with a little big ot outside of this world existence, and a little war here and there, you would not be able to refute it. They would put people with it outside of the city.
