Hussein Speaks

Recommended Posts

Yes he does. So, what does everyone here think will happen next? Is Saddam telling the truth from the heart, that he is really sad about the invasion of Kuwait, or does he just "picture it out" in the media for folks to believe? Will there be more terrorist actions after this? I'd say Saddam has shipped out all his deadly weapons and weapons of MD a long time ago. I think the UN is just playing around. It's like telling your parents to search your room for drugs when you already have hidden them in another place (ie not in your room :P). And what will they do when they finnish the search? Will they still be monitoring Iraq, or is that against UN rules, if there are such? Your opinion. Stay on topic.

Hussein is a wonderful man.lol cant wait to see your guys' reactions. anyways enough of the immaturity. The problem is, saddam has done many dealings that deserve his destruction. Iraq should be taken for its own people's use and how they see fit, since they live there and all and "we are not a tyrannic government that controls what other nations do.) ;)

But how can they do that when their government is ruled by one man? Their government decides what the people can say and can not. Besides, the people can't excape the country. They don't have any money, or most of those who want's to leave don't. And where should they go? They are an oppressed population, that's why the U.S. cares what becomes of them. Why the U.S. don't go after North Korea, is because North Korea do not have a dictator that executes thousands of his own people.

well you know the problem is... they could've done it long before.. in the gulf war the were almost there and could've kicked saddam from the throne.. but because the US didn't know a good candidate to rule Irak they stopped the invasion and pulled back.. that is the only reason why saddam is still there

The allies had several opportunities to stop Hitler early too, but they waited until it was almost too late. He had already taken Austria, Chechoslavakia, and flat out told everyone he was going to conquer the world in Mein Kampf. Britain and France waited until he took Poland to do anything. The US waited until Japan had attacked them.

If Saddam Hussein isn't stopped now, the UN will have proved to be just as ineffective now as the league of nations was then.

The Leauge of Nations was just another bullshit thing, very much like the UN are today. At that time, countries didn't think of other countries as much. No one cared for Poland or Norway or something. They just did not want another war, so they gave Hitler and the Reich the grantenance. But after Hitler went mad and tried to conquer the world, then the Allies had do cowork to do anything. Or maybe there is something much bigger behind both the LN and UN? Nobody knows.
