Timenn
No, there are very good ways to stop them. And wormriding makes the Fremen good. They are alot worse when they can't wormride
Devastator_Mech
No, i think the Fredaykin should cost more and take longer to build than it does now, because it has a huge advantage over all the other units in the game, making them irregularly useful and strong in the game. $250? I reckon there should be 2 different Fredakins, a regular Fredakin and Fredaykin Elite, the regular Fredakin would cost the same and do everything the same as the one now but can't worm-ride, a Fredaykin Elite should cost 2x as much and take 1.5x longer to train but has same armour as the Sard.Elites and could worm-ride. Timenn
Then the normal Fedaykin would be useless then. The only thing it has is a lesser buildtime. But you see that most people don't care about that, if there is an equal stronger unit
Devastator_Mech
But it'll cost too much and take too long to build up a sufficient force of it.
TLContaminator
A few devastator alone maybe easily to stop, but a group of devastator with some anti-infantry support would be extremely hard to stop.Who could tell me how stop a group of army including 4 devastator,2 flame tank, 3 missile tank, 2 inkvine and each unit are covering each other as group with only Atreides unit? Devastator_Mech
I agree with the worm bit, but with the SW bit, rarely anyone will build it on WOL.
TLContaminator
well i build cuz i dont like to defend against an attack like this cuz i usuly fail so the SW is my friend
Devastator_Mech
If you waste the time on SW against elite commander/s, you'll be defeated much earlier than you have the chance to use it.
TLContaminator
elite commanders i dont play against super good players

IxianMace
Getting off topic don't you think? ::) TLContaminator, if you love your Gholas and Contaminators, why don't you start a story about it in fanfiction?
TLContaminator
becouse its not a fanfiction its real
IxianMace
Hmmm, ok then. Anyway, a good tactic against Devastators would be to Leech them perhaps?
Devastator_Mech
LOL, it'll take centuries to destroy the Devastator with leeches .....
TLContaminator
i sed that and once the devestator is leeched the leech can run
Devastator_Mech
Yeah yeah, keep bluffing about using leeches to kill Devastator.
IxianMace
Don't forget the units that are infected with Leech larvae can not be picked up by Advanced Carryalls. Which means that the Devastator will have to walk everywhere from then on. That can leave it very vulnerable.
Devastator_Mech
The larve could be removed, and if its really losing, it'll just self-destruct when necessary.
IxianMace
Well if the Devastator is self-destructed, then the player with the Leech will have gotten rid of it anyway, which means that overall they will have won. Even if the larvae is removed, it will still damage the Devastator somewhat, and leave the Devastator vulnerable for the amount of time that it can' be picked up. Devastator_Mech
The devastator has more than the power needed to kill a leech.
