Gwydion Posted August 24, 2021 Share Posted August 24, 2021 I initially downloaded the game and even though i checked install cutscenes, they were just blank files and i could get to the main menu and missions fine without movies, naturally this is one of the best parts so i downloaded the gruntmods movies separately and installed them and now the intro movies play, but after that I get a black screen with program not responding after they finish playing... any ideas on how to get both the missions and movies to work? Gwydion Posted August 24, 2021 Author Share Posted August 24, 2021 After some time of messing around I CAN get the game to work, in windowed mode with a VERY tiny 1920 x 1080 P resolution selected its not ideal to play the game like that though or watch the movies like that. So if anyone knows a fullscreen / borderless fullscreen way to play without errors please respond and help an old time fan out! Thank you! Here are other languages cutscenes: https://gruntmods.com/cutscenes-and-extra-content/ However, the latest gruntmods edition installer of the game seemed to install an "old version", where resolution selection was not respected.
