As in the Cartoon thread, these representations of the characters are very stylistic as well, the women are very curvy and busty. But from what I've seen there's a lot of work done. The game has an ending, you could probably can breeze through it within an hour if you rush. There's lots of side stuff still being made and the game is all there, but assets are still missing. It's decent for a solo project, but it's more about the sex then the story or even the gameplay. You ask one fremen to work for you, and they instantly all work for you. (probably going to be fixed in later updates.) You can now play the game without the sex (there is a mode for it) Crazy enough the game is very true to Dune and its universe and its actually not bad for a simple game / successor to Dune 1. MrFlibble Posted November 25, 2018 Share Posted November 25, 2018 Somehow I find it odd for this to be called ADULT 18+ while nothing could be more remote from a mature audience than this persistent obsession with exaggerated anatomy in the art style. However this might be a clever ploy to remake the game while avoiding a C&D order — nobody would take it serious! On yet another side I wonder if it is ethical to commercially exploit the entire thing via Patreon, I doubt the guy actually licensed anything from DeLaurentiis, the Herbert Estate or whoever owns rights to Dune at this point. Someone commented on one of my Dune 1 videos a year or 2 ago that they'd give anything for some sort of a Dune 1 remake.. so I sent him a link to this project, warned him that French people are weird and wished him luck... he didn't reply. 😂 Jokes aside a family friendly version of this with all characters remade would be good, as I was quite impressed with just how much of the actual original gameplay had been remade in-between all the rude stuff. However if the family friendly version is just the same game with the same extremely large breasted female character replacements but with sex acts deleted then umm yeah it's still not really gonna be family friendly.
