Tiandor Posted May 15, 2015 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Hi all together, hopefully one of you can help me with getting dune2000 running on my windows 8.1 system. I downloaded and installed Dune2000 gruntmod version 1.6.1.9. Whenever i click the start campaign button i get an error concerning dune.dat . "Runtime error dune.dat Application couldnt be started correctly 0xc0000022 click ok to close" I tried to force direct draw emulation - because i read this in different topics. No result.I also uninstalled and downloaded again to reinstall - same error like before. Searching the forum and using google i couldnt find any solution. Account is of type administrator as well. *noticed that i accidentally posted in standard dune 2000 topic. FunkyFr3sh Posted May 16, 2015 Share Posted May 16, 2015 It is not a error related to the game, the error code "0xc0000022" shows a lot of results on google. Tiandor Posted May 17, 2015 Author Share Posted May 17, 2015 Tried google on the error myself and fixed some registry garbage and went for gmer, hijackthis and kasperky tdss rootkit killer to check if there is something wrong. No results :(Also checked administrator write permissions on the exe file - everything is ok. Its only dune2000 which doesnt start. Everything else works perfect. Strange ...
