MrFlibble
However, if firebox gets updates, shouldn't each add-on be checked automatically?I remember Opera lost all its dictionaries after an update, so I had to manually re-install them.New builds and updates often are released with some minor but potentially annoying things like this. This is why I usually turn any auto-update feature off.
X3M
Well, I had to update my firefox because of a very stupid reason. Apparently, the flash crap needed to be updated. Thus Microsoft outlook was updated automatically before that (that crap needs updates after 10 years). There fore X-notifier needed to be updated as well. And for that, I needed to update firefox. :O Eventually, my dictionary needed to be updated. O well, my pc from 5 years ago, could do this in 20 minutes. Still proud of its speed. Although it kills and eats "tasty" cd's if I am not careful. Problem solved....My daily PC life :D

And the link to this forum? My contents are not shown, right?I see your msn hotmail email in profile. But I'm guessing that is because mods can see it. Actually, nope I'm guessing your msn is public. I checked my profile and my email for dune2k is not listed in 'my profile'. But if I filled out Contact MethodsAIMMSNWebsite URLICQYahooJabberSkypethey would be visible. Gobalopper
To be safe I've removed the permission for guests to view any part of a profile. Members will still be able to see it.

Andrew
And that's what happened, Someone became member, and went lurking around. I bet other have had this spam too.Not to worry, I simply ignore it then. Thanks for the heads up though. Blocking guests/spammers from viewing profile should prevent a lot of the spam. Is it possible to block new members who have not been approved yet, from viewing profiles?
Gobalopper
The issue was that previously guests were able to view profiles but since X3M brought it up that has been disabled.
