Gwizz
This winter has been the wettest weather in 30 years in Seattle. Our States coastal passenger RR continues to be plagued by mud & rock slides. The old Burlington right of way was widened to make room for the Sounder train. Some how Seattle didn't plan on the new higher bank sliding down across the tracks, almost on a weekly basis. Of course if it didn't rain so much there might not be a problem. But then Seattle is known for having lots of rain. On top of that the right-of-way is only a few feet above high tide. I wonder what damage a major earthquake would do. It might wash away the mud. :O
