Guest Ordos_Yogurt
He'll send the harvesters 2 YOUR spice fields and you can destroy them there ya loser!
ordos45
You overlook the fact that while you micro-manage his spice field destruction he could hit your base...also it is not an effective strat because the spice regenerates very fast. Destroying the spice fields is a temporary solution at best.

Guest Ordos_Yogurt
Dunn worry. I'll play the game a bit more and think of something else to say.
Guest Gargamel
I still believe this is a good way to start tha game. Buzz can destroy many units at the beginning and if you keep them patrol over your opponents spice fields (using many waypoints), they won't regenerate anymore. Furthermore, you'll see if your opponent plans to attack your base and attack him with your Buzz on his way since your opponent's spice fields are often between the two bases.Last but not least, if your opponent decides to destroy your group of Buzz with bigger units, just move your Buzz through his units and attack his base. Buzz move faster than many units.I wouldn't say it works every time, but it can drive your ennemy mad at the beginning of the game.
Guest Ordos_Yogurt
COOL!!! the computer never seems to care unless the saws shoot something! Avoid Harvesters!.
quoudam72
Buzzsaws can be used very wickly if you use your imagination.
nemafakei
Yes. They can also be serverely misused if you're not careful. If just one saw shoots a bullet at a harvester that it finds in the spicefield it's destroying, the AI will come to tear the saws' blade out with extreme vengeance and lots of pixels. gunner154
What tactic is that? Great! But I'd rather send ADP and stop the carryalls, then slice his spice. Then Laugh at him  ;D
nemafakei
Ok...What do you mean by 'What tactic is that?'
gunner154
Well I never heard of such a tactic before because of those 'mounts' which Harvies step on and generate more spice, u have to get rid of ALL the spice for it to work :(
Ligic_Tha_Master
It doesnt matter if you destroy all the spice. The "mounts" will still regenerate more spice.I think...
quoudam72
Buzzsaws can also be used to stop infantry use a little micro-management it works sometimes but you have to be sneaky about it.
Duncan
the buzzsaw are good for that
nemafakei
The mounds regenerate spice yes, but only in a radius - if there is no mounded spice field near the enemy, you will get no regeneration, and so production will be slowed for as long as he takes to get to a regenerating one further from his base and more vulnerable to attack.
