saspur Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 If anyone have problems guarding their harvester at the early stage of mission, try build high tech fac as soon as possible and build 1 carryall, after completed sell the high tech fac (save money to build rocket turrets). If enemy attack harvester simply "recall" the harvester to your refinery.In this way, money flows in faster than "1 harvester no carryall mode", and less likely harvester gets destroyed.This is pretty effective in Ordos mission 8, Harkonnen mission 7, where you struggle to protect your one and only harvester at the beginningHowever, need to build 3-4 missile turrets at your base entrance before going for high tech fac. AMIgaBot Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 beg sandworm to give back some harvesters .. exacly you need 5 refineries four harvestes per refinery and two carryals per refinery 1 carryal can move 2 harvesters one after one by queues but thats not eoungh, build three more carryals .. also put on infantry zone troopers and lightinfantry then some tanks behind them on all entrances, if sandworm appears, move away harvester and send troopers and they shoot in worm. if you want be full safe, get ronly missile tanks and quads, notthing can survive that kind of defenses, maybe death hand missile can destroy but airstrike not, to make heavy damage to ai base you need 40 or more missile tanks depending on base size and defenses on it. dont kill turrets, destroy wind traps and refineries then move away - be sure no windtraps are in enemy base,if you love technology, get engineers with army, tanks clear base , engineers take buldings, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
