EasyE Posted June 17, 2010 Share Posted June 17, 2010 Ok so i am having a problem trying to connect a desktop using xp and a laptop using Vista in order to play d2k i have downloaded all the patches and upgraded version just to be able to add Ipx/spx onto vista and upgraded the game to 1.06. I also upgrade to 1.06 on xp. then i downloaded hamachi and got the two coms set up on a server. Well your supposed to change the frame type to 802.2 and did all of that for the xp but since the vistas is just a patch it doesnt come with properties. I have tried auto detect, all the framing options, firewall takedown,even did a crossover cable to no avail. So if anyone has any thoughts i would be most grateful i spent four hours on this last night hopefully it will only take me about 6 to figure it out today :P Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
