Acriku
Ok so I'll try to get a picture or two up to show the setup but I need to know how to take the damn CD player out of my car. The CD that is in it will not come out no matter how long I hold the eject button and I'm kind of getting tired of the techno cd right about 4 months ago. I cry out to the community for help! Dragoon Knight
There are a couple of things you can try that don't require you to take the entire unit out.First, if you have a really thin (preferably blunt) knife, or something similar, you can attach something sticky or self-adhesive to the blade. If you can get it looped well enough, you can roll some sellotape back on itself and create some makeshift double-sided tape. Stick it along the length of the knife, then gently and carefully insert it as low into the slot as possible. The idea is to stick the knife to the bottom of the CD and slowly drag it out. Also, some CD players will have an emergency eject lever behind a faceplate. It'll be a tiny hole, normally just below the slot and slightly to the right. Just big enough to poke a paperclip in, and that's what you should do. It might take a couple of tries to hit the right section, but if this lever exists, it'll push the CD out manually.
