MrFlibble
The changelist looks pretty impressive. I'll try it out ASAP :)I remember that some time ago, the user's manual was available in PDF format. Now it's only a link to the forum section. I think an offline documentation would be a nice thing to have too :)
drackbolt
I agree, just that the online version was so much work and it's not easy to get it into a manual looking the same way. Also one of my main objectives as the project moved on was to make sure the game only required one file to download. Now that I use Zips to keep the sizes down anyway I suppose I could reintroduce a manual file, but then I'd have to keep that and the online version updated together, which I'm not excited about. Plus, this way I get to see how many hits those pages get. ;)
MrFlibble
I understand that the online manual is so much easier to keep up to date :) Maybe a text file (not necessarily PDF) included in the game distributive package with some basic explanations (that do not need to be updated with every release) would do? Nyerguds
You can just make it a HTML page. That's how I'm planning to do it for my next C&C95 patch. HTMLs can just be uploaded to a site, and offline HTML readmes really aren't that uncommon.
