TMA_1
I just thought I would start this thread because I was reminiscing about all those dandy video game songs that would permanently get stuck in my head. Here are a few games with great music that I can think of at the moment.Megaman 2Ultima 4 Quest of the AvatarCastlevania 2 Simon's QuestVarious Mario Bros gamesFinal Fantasy IV, VI and VIIMetal Gear SolidVampire: The Masquerade, RedemptionDreamwebDarklandsAnyways there are definitely a bunch more, just have to think of some more names to throw out there. Ill think of some more and post them tomorrow or the next day most likely. How about you guys? What video and computer game music do you most remember? Post em here so we can all compare notes and see if we can jog eachother's memories!Regards: Titus
Dunenewt
Anything by Frank Klepacki, obviously! Other than that, I quite liked the music in some of the Unreal games, especially Unreal Tournament.By the way, nice to see you back TMA! Andrew
Should be in gaming section, and this has been done before. As I've said before, Betrayal at Krondor has best music. With cd version you get I think 400mb of .wav, and they sound awesome (assuming you've played the game).
MrFlibble
Anything by Frank Klepacki, obviously!Seconded :)Lee Jackson did a good job on both Dune Nukem 3D and Rise of the Triad. The latter has a lot of nice tune that have a nostalgic feel to me :)The soundtrack from Warcraft II is one of my favourites as well. Warcraft: Orcs and Humans is also good, but I did not like the one in Warcraft III as much.Age of Empires and The Rise of Rome have nice music too.Oh, and the soundtrack from Herzog Zwei (Sega) has a lot of great tunes with a nostalgic feel :)
Andrew
Age of Empires and The Rise of Rome have nice music too.I was just playing that recently. Sadly for whatever reason when saving random map game, the saves get corrupted or something, and I can't save games (when loading game crashes). Also some random crashes when playing. I have rise of rome patched.

Dante
Dragon Age. Far and away the best music I can remember hearing in a game.Though with my memory, that might not be saying very much. I also quite liked the Ordos themes from Emperor... Age of Wonders had some nifty ones too.
