piterdevries
So my sister used my flash disk for a month, then she returned it this morning because I'm going to use it. I jacked it into my PC and started to transfer Gandhi, a two-part movie. Part 1 got through just fine, Part 2 however... Suddenly stopped. Then an error message pops up saying that I should remove the flash disk's write protection. HUH?!This flash disk does not have any switches or locks or whatsoever that can toggle its write protection. Only a plain disk, nothing more. What happened here? Anyone got an idea? I'm running on windows xp

piterdevries
okay nevermind this i solved it. but as for those who have similar problems, especially if your usb stick is from Transcend, just download their online recovery tool, just don't forget the stick's serial number.thread can be closed now :-)
