House_Mars
I've had some really hilarious moments with Ordos armies. I've deviated a harky flame tank sitting next to a large group of infantry and watched it turn on them! ;DThis is also a clever little trick you can use with chaos lightning... I discovered it by first attacking the enemy base with EITS but not succeeding in annihilating the enemy constuction yard. However, some of the saboteour explosions revealed the location of a group of about 6 Feydakin right outside his crippled cyard.... I proceeded to chaos lightning the group of now cloaked feydakin, hoping they were still in that position... they were! Now because friendly feydakin cannot hurt each other with their weirding modules, in their berserk state they turned on surrounding structures! Bye bye Cyard! ;DAnyone else got any Ordos funny stuff they wanna share?
Gunseng_Harkonnen
Worm sign! And worm going on my harvesters. Take deviator, deviate enemy unit and send to worm. Even if unit will undeviate itself but only to be ate by sandworm. Enemy haven`t unit and worm back to sand not doing anything to my harvester :).Hope enemy unit is faster than worm... Dezertfish
laser tank versus leech: If you circle a group of leeches with a laser tank, they are toast.hit devastators/sonic with chaos lightning, If it is near conyard or something else important...run a dust scout at a devastator and escort, after the units kill the dust scout, move in a deviator to hit and run the devastator and deploy it. Also works with mino and snipers/fedsThis is anti ordos, but if you leech a kobra it cannot deploy.
ken124578
lol, you underestimate the deviater (like most players do)the deviater has 1. more range.2. the devastaters missiles wil only take it the shield or less!!!3. the devastater can't escape cus its too slow.4. circling around an devastater isn't a VERY smart thing to do for the ordos. Gunseng_Harkonnen
Haos lightning on flame tank when near is a lot of harks infantry units. Once enemy had 25 troops, missile and two flame tank in group. Missile started shot to one troop and flamer killed all this infantry and then was destroyed by missile ;D
Dante
This would work for Atreides too but everyone likes the Ordos so...Engineer a Harkonnen conyard then quickly pack it back into an MCV and airlift it out with an advanced carryall (It helps if you have distracted or destroyed enemy units first). Then what you COULD do is build enemy units and have the fun of watching them flame their pals, but what I prefer to do it build a palace then death hand part of their base with no buildings but which units cross a lot. Especially infantry. The irony of dying from their own house's atomics is just wonderful. And then with the green stuff left over outside a barracks....love it. Gunseng_Harkonnen
He he, yes, every infantry unit that come from there with turn himself dead ;DIts funny to put chemical troops in enter of barrack too. Once Harks sent me deva with AC. I was watching AC and observe where is landing, went there with deviator and deviated deva. THen I took mine AC and go with it to enemy base. THeir own unit destroyed them buiding after they killed it.
Dante
Obliterating a house with their own units has to be one of the most fun ironic things this game can provide. Harkonnen Death Hand affects Harkonnen units, and Hawk strike doesn't effect Atreides units, does the Chaos lightening affect Ordos units? Your own that is.Another fun thing to do is to put a conyard near the enemy base and then slowly build turrets moving into it. It sometimes takes a while but you don't need to worry about power since once you've built a new lot closer to the base you can sell the last lot. leech13
i was playing the ord campaign and 2 mongeese were walking to my base di rectly infront of a sonic tank. my deviator went up infront of the mongeese where it took two hits but its shields heldthen the sonic got into range and blasted the to mongeese apart for me. then i jut moved out of the way.this would probably work better withdustiesif playing against a turtle with sonic tanks stupidly behind their main line, walk a few dusties up to the main line the sonic tanks will fire and destroy a couple of things for you. also works with scouts as the minos will destroy the infantry front lines
ken124578
uhh... if i met an turtle i would kill al his harvseters and carry-als then i slowly kill al his units.

Dante
well thats not very nice!you should at least give the player a chanceOnly if they're new and have never played anyone online before. Like me. But I don't think I ever could so I never bother asking in advance. Otherwise, smash 'em.
Gunseng_Harkonnen
About harvesters, its funny killing enemy infantry by them. Its only problem that before you move them there, carryall picks it up. But if infantry is close, why not use harvester, while they sometimes are so annoying.
DarkHydra
Yes, i once had 1 of my harvesters attacked by a few hark troopers, ordered the harvester to smash em, but then the stupid carryall came, picked up the harvester, and got shot down in mid-air by the troopers >:(
Timenn
You can prevent that, when you move your harvester and it stops to be picked up, press 's' and repeat the order
Gunseng_Harkonnen
I was picking up harvesters and moving them with carryall very near infantry on spice field. Then, if troops did`t shot it down (or it were not anti-air), harvesters were close enough to kill them. :-/
louzynewbie
This will kill ya...I leeched the oppoonent's laser tanks, about 8 out of 15. Then the fool tried to shoot them off and he blew his whole squad up! :O :O :O*Rolls around on the floor laughing*

Gunseng_Harkonnen
I mean: When I saw that there are infantry units on spice field, I didn`t let carryall moving with harvesters by its own, but when harvester was empty, I showed harvester place naer infantry to put it already not far. Timenn
I see... But isn't that too much work, instead of sending some armies?
Gunseng_Harkonnen
For exemple if spice field is far from base and is it too far for units there. Well, I did it only few times, on big map witch far spice field where were only infantry units. Thene I hadn`t time for army and worms could eat units on the way. Timenn
Yeah, ok :). But I forget this was about funny tactics. Like pillaging villages with Ordos M1 :)
