spicy Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 hi am trying to run The_Chronicles_of_Riddick_Escape_From_Butcher_Bay on my pc : p4 3ghz 1g ram 6200 250 mb xfx geforce but the game wont run and it say i need a driver that support open gl 1.3 or higher ... is it a hardware problem or a software problem ? thanks .. gryphon Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 thought openGL hasn't been used for ages ;)Last time I used it was for Unreal, for some reason that always run better with openGL. Anyway. Windows XP has software openGL support, just not suitable for playing games. If your hardware supports it the manufacturer of your graphicscard has the needed drivers.
