does anybody have some specs about the filetypes

*.shp and *.emc ? and does anybody know where the graphics from the games are saved ?? i need the location for my project but i can't find the files ?!

i didn't find:

-underground graphics

-graphics from buildings

-graphics from the menues (for example - the golden graphics of the eagle) not the main menue !!!

-where are the maps stored and how ?? - very importatnt

-does anybody know a porgrm(source in c only) which can convert mdi to midi files ??

PLEASE let me know it you know something of the things i don't know !!!

I know that their mysterious and probably non-existing "the team" will never reply.

Can't help you more than that.

You should try and search the answer from programming communities. Participate in some newsgroups and I believe you'll find what you need.

seems to be a long time since i have been here so here are some news:

now i got a working extractor(written in c) and useable from the command line.

it's supported under linux and maybe with some little modifications it can be used under windows.

it extracts the pak-files and stores the contence in a folder with the pak name.

and i included the source of the algorithm from "Olaf van der Spek <Olaf@XCC.TMFWeb.NL>" which should do a great job in

converting the images(cps2png) but it's not working yet.

Well, the maps aren't stored. look in scenario.ini. There is a random seed number in there. Chnage this yo get a totally different map. Dunno what ranges it uses though :)
