veK Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 I don't know for sure but I think it isn't possible to do this. if the game doesn't offer that resolution it usually can't be forced because in most cases (most games) the whole "available resolutions" is bit more complex. I mean usually there's game code behind that which would need a change then too. but I don't know about emperor...it's weird there is no 1280x1024 resolution available. it's a quite common resolution for lcd displays and I also know a lot of people (including me) who used that resolution back then when emperor was released on a crt. erjin999 Posted July 20, 2006 Share Posted July 20, 2006 It is possible to force it, but it is pointless as the graphics dont match up with click-detection, so you click somewhere, and the wrong units get selected, or atatcked, or whatever. Its stupid they didnt support that res, even if it was hidden in a box called Extra Resolutions or something... :'(I make do with 8x6..
