lowzeewee
The atriedes mentat is Gimli in LotR,lol. :)And also,Magneto from X-Men 2 is Gandalf the Grey. :O[This fits into General board right, since it has nothing to do with the Dune2000 gameplay itself?][since everyone knows Agent Smith is Arwen's father I don't need to mention it.]

Avrillian_Sard01
??? Yeah, and Saruman also plays Count Dooku in Star Wars Episode 2...not much of a surprise as Christopher Lee already is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the actor w/ the most movie roles...You must join me, Obi-Wan...and together, we will destroy the Sith. -Christopher Lee as Count DookuWe must join with him, Gandalf. We must join with Sauron. It would be wise, my friend. -Christopher Lee as SarumanSounds kinda similar... ??? ...but still unlike...

He is a powerful wise old man from this order of wizards, but he desires power and leaves and becomes evil and serves under the evil master....hmm. Star Wars is cool. thomas
whos cares if it's similar he does a great job as saruman and IMO does add alot to LotR. Episode two on the other hand . . . he couldn't save that :P.

Vanguard3000
Yeah, the Professor was one of the best parts of Sliders. After he left, it got kind of stupid.
Andoreion
John Rhys-Davis also played that proffessor in Sliders didn't he? He also played 'Paladin' in Wing Commander 3 and 4. Another actor from those games was Mark Hamil (Luke Skywalker).

Seal89999
That is sorta cool that the actors are the same in a bunch of well known movies....Now that I look at it , LOTR was pretty much an allstar cast.
lowzeewee
Viggo Mortensen sure is a star in Europe. :O And as for Agent Elrond,he sure made his name! ;D
driftingcloud
What about Brad Dourif? He was Piter in the Lynch Dune and is Wormtongue in LOTR....and he had a fun role in Star Trek Voyager for a season or two...

Seal89999
and he had a fun role in Star Trek Voyager for a season or two...What charactor did he play in voyager?
driftingcloud
I don't remember the character name but I think it was season 2 or 3. He was a prisoner aboard Voyager and they (maybe the doctor) were trying to reform him. I remember his character did something good for the Voayger crew as a swan song on his last episode. I'm not that big of a Trekkie so I don't have more info....
Seal89999
Im not a hard core trekkie either but I enjoy the series..I believe Brad Dourif played Ensign Lon Suder in season 2 , that is the old school voyager , I think it was around 1996. I looked his face up and rembered his charactor. Voyager was my favorite in the star trek series so I know alot about it.
Tako
Michael Dorn, who was the Atriedes Duke in Empy,is in Star Trek. :)jup Worf! and Dourif was Suder I know I looked it upyou know this is almost scary maybe it's a conspirecy (don't know if I speld it correct but who cares ;D)
Vanguard3000
The episodes with Sudor was the only thing that made Voyager worth watching. Other than that, the whole series was garbage. At least it was better than Enterprise, but that's not saying much. Thank you, Mr. Berman. Thank you, Mr. Braga. I hate you both. thomas
you the guy from the original star trek, you know the one that says "Captian we're giving her all we got!" is now 83 and has a 3 year-old son? :O
