Ninja_of_DooM
Hey guys. I'm just back for a while under a new nickname. I've got an essay to do on a book at school and I've decided to pick TBJ. I've decided to write about how one of the main characters changes over the course of the novel. I was wondering If you guys could help me find the right character and some useful notes to go with them and the topic. Your help would be much appreciated.BTW. I'm Ninja231. ;D
Andrew
Well the character that goes through the most change would be eithor Atreides, or Serena Butler.Atreides(I forget the first name) was on the machines side, but then changed to the Human side near the end.Serena lived peacefully with her human friends, but then is captured and taken to the machines. Vanguard3000
I would also choose Vorian Atreides. His transformation from an ignorant pawn of the Machines to Butlerian crusader follows an almost classic path.

Inoculator9
Personally, I think doing something like this with the first Dune would impress your teacher/prof more ;)
Mahdi
I've never had an english teacher who didn't love the book/ read it multiple times.

Emperor Harkonnen
No! No! No! not Vorian don't Vorian! there is a perfect character in the novel for this porpose, the man who lead the butlerian jihad. he who commanded the slaves. I don't remember his name. He was a slave of high rank. He first was a loyal to the machines and then later he rebbeled against them. but if you have chosen atreides then there is nothing to with that. :(
Timenn
You mean Iblis Ginjo, the slave master, who later lead the rebellion.I agree that you should do it with Dune. And the person who changes throughout the story most is Paul Atreides himself. One of my last things I said to my English teacher, before leaving my old school, was that he should read Dune. Especially because he already liked the movie...

Dunenewt
I also think you should do Iblis Ginjo the Slave leader.
