"All rise for the honorable Emperor Hirotio!"

"My people, today is a great day for our country. Today is the first day of our invasion of North America. We finally set foot on their cursed continent. 500.000 troops supported by 50.000 tanks and 35.000 Zero4 fighter planes have formed a large beach-head on Alaska. From there we will start conquering North America."

"Well done, Emperor, now go back to your room." The 5 generals are left in the room. These 5 are the true power of Japan.

"We need to fortify our borders on the west." "No, we need to expand on that side to!" "We can't fight a war on two sides! Russia and Germany can fight it out there, we have enough problems with the US at this moment." "Very well, have it your way."

Troop reinforcements send to the western region of the Empire.

So that's why you wanted somebody to be America...

The port of Archangel is freezing cold. Russia ordinarily had harsh winters, and since the nuclear fallout they had been even worse, but this was the coldest, harshest winter in the records. The surface of the sea had all but frozen up as the icecaps slid downwards, and even though it was technically too cold for snow, it fell anyway. Thick as a fog.

The streets were deserted. The port was almost under siege. The residents never left their houses, many hundreds died of the cold or lack of food. The electricity was functioning but only just. Heating was never enough. All in all, it was a deadzone.

A figure made his way through the snowdrifts. He was the first person to set foot on the street in weeks, and his shadow cast eerie flickering shapes as the streetlights struggled to stay alight in the black of the night and winter. The thick-falling snow covered up his footprints almost as soon as he left them. His fur cloak wrapped tightly around his form as he forced his way towards the docks. Upon reaching a warehouse, he thumped the door in a rhymic pattern to be heard above the howling of the wind. He waited a second, then rang a large brass bell. The door opened for a fraction of a second, and he vanished inside.

A faint ripple under the ice floes is all that indicates the passing of the craft that night.

Progress of mission; Passing East coast of Finland.

A President's aide came running accross the room.

"Sir, we are under attack!"

"Great," President Talbot said, "Where is it now? Pearl Harbor? The Alutians? Midway?"

"No sir, the Japanese have just launched an attack on mainland Alaska, and have established a considerable beach-head. It appears as if they have about 500,000 troops, supported by tanks and fighters."

"Damn! So after all this time it has finally started for real. They want us gone, and they are finally commiting the reasorces to try and kill us. I want you to contact General Peterson and Admiral Howell and develop a defensive plan. We should have several divisions of infantry stationed in Eastern Alaska, equelling about 250,000 troops. We also have about 33,000 tanks. I want you to develop a plan for fighting the Japanese. They outnumber us, so we will have to fight a retreating, guerilla(sp?) battle."

"Yes sir!"

"Thats not all, we dont have the capability to stop them right now, but we can screw with their supply lines. We should have several squadrans of our new "Phantom" stealth fighter bombers. The Japanese will not be able to see them coming until they open their bomb-bay doors. We cant send our planes over the Japanese beach-head, that would be suicide, but we can and will use them to shut off the Japs supply lines, and slow down the invading army."

"Sounds good sir, anything else?"

"Yes." Said the President. "Arrange a speech in front of the capitol building. Our country and the American people have not cared or been passionate about this war sinse we failed to stop the Japs in India in the 50's. After our defeat in the battle of New Delhi all those years ago, our people just stopped carring. They have no passion for fighting anymore. In the 1940's, our production and fighting levels were up to insane proportions, but after our losses in Normandy, and later in India, we dropped off and havnt been trying as hard as we could have been. Maybe we can galvinize the nation into action again..."

In the nation of Islaman, Sultanate Omar Qadif walked around in his palace. The recent news of the Japanese invasion of the US was disturbing but not a threat, yet. It was time for action.

to Germany:

[hide]I propose a joint alliance against the Japanese Empire. I will strike through heir southern border and you attack through their northern border.

is it a deal?[/hide]

"Our march trough Canada is going briljant. We do have a problem with the supplies, because the Americans are bombing our supplielines."

"Well at least we have enough food and water here in Canada."

"Yes sir, but our ammo is going fast, as is our diesel."

"Hmm, send a message to HQ, those attacks need to end."

"Yes sir."

Message to: Japan HQ

From: General Makato

The attacks on our supplies need to stop. Fix something

Message to: General Makato

From: Japan HQ

We need a lot of manpower to withstand the brewing attacks on the west side. We will see what we can do.

"Damnit, our American campaign is far to importent. What do those idiots at HQ think they're doing. Accelerate the attack!"

"Yes sir!"

(-Attack on Northren America goes well

-Defense on west side of the Empire is upgraded

-Part of the Pacific navel fleet is moving north to stop the attacks on the supply lines)

"Sir, the Japanese have a small fleet moving north to cover their supply lines against our bomber attacks."

"Damnit, I dont know how long we can hold the Japs back, Damn them! We need help."

Secret message to Russia:

[hide]

The American people do not presently have the capacity to halt the Japanese invasion of our northern borders. We need some help. Is there any way that you can put some pressure on the northern borders of the Japanese empire? I realize that you are quite busy with your own war as of now, but if we can repel the Japanese invasion on North America, I promise you that the American people will re-enter the war and fight with the Russians[/hide]

The United States has re-signed a decleration of War against the Japanese. within the next weeks, 50% of our civil production facilities will be re-geared for wartime production. In addition, the draft will be reinstated, and we plan to have a 100% increase in military personel over the next year.

The US steps up bomber attacks on the Japanese supply lines and dispatches a small submarine squad to help cover the new Japanese fleet.
