    Dune non-animated

    I have made my own dune stories with commanders that don't exist in the same paradox but are very impressive. The method I used was 2D objectifying art in dune style armor and in many regions my nation with the Harkonnen conquers all paradoxes with my exactor science. Gordon Dark Shnider Also originally a Harkonnen Ruler and Advisor in the High Commanding General Rikes that shares with Ecticon his commander rikes and his conquering strategies along with battle formation and new units. He leads the from his own deadlier version of the assault tank, the Demonstrator I which has tri cannon that could demolish enemy territory. Assault Tank (The Devision Panzers Tank) The assault tank is a very fast tank with heavy armor and armed with an assault cannon. Which means it takes 8 cannon shells to be destroyed instead of 4 hits to making this tank a good front arms tank. Similar to the original assault tank found in the Emperor's Battle for dune. I also conquer in text based conquest/skirmish. Are you interested in this type of gaming? A freestyle text based conquest in a hosting server, if you're interested I can give you any props you request in this field. A friend of mines has chosen the old Dune the battle for Arrakis style for his RP so this has given me an offset for my original unit making style. It isn't dune but it is quite an interesting game.
  2. Hi guys, Decided to do some new fun video content for my Dune Games Website. I installed the latest versions of all the big Dune 2 fan remakes and created videos giving a brief tour of their features and then (badly lol) playing a skirmish match in each to put them through their paces. OpenRA Dune 2 Classic Mod Probably the most recent and rarely seen Dune 2 remake. OpenRA (a C&C and Red Alert engine rebuild) is extremely popular but because this mod only works with the Github development version of OpenRA it’s half impossible to get working. With some help from the devs my friends & I finally got it working. However our multiplayer match was over way too quickly so I decided to do a longer skirmish game to check out end game buildings & units too. Dune Legacy By far the the most impressive feature packed Dune 2 remake of them all and built from elements of the OpenDUNE project. Great graphical options, 3 sub houses (Fremen, Sardukar, Mercs), a map editor and loads of skirmish/multiplayer maps. They’ve added the Super Dune 2 Missions with new improved briefings so really the only feature still missing is support for Dune eXtended missions. Dune Dynasty A very good Dune 2 reconstruction similar to Legacy but focuses more on being an accurate recreation of the original Dune 2 game code. It has been neglected for years now so is lacking some of Legacy’s impressive features. However it DOES support Dune eXtended missions making it currently the only choice if you wish to play eXtended missions in HD with C&C controls. My skirmish match went longer than planned so the video is in 2 parts. Dune 2 The Maker No video from me but The Maker gets an honourable mention as to this day its enhanced, upscaled and sharpened Dune 2 graphics still beat all other projects. Unfortunately it doesn’t support high resolutions and was abandoned in 2013. HOWEVER it’s creator Stefan has returned in late 2016 and rebooted the project with a new java based engine. It’s still early days so I’ll hold off on doing a video for now. In the meantime here’s a very old video Stefan made. For Shai-Hulud!!
  3. hello, I played with dune after a long time (more than 10 years). I do not know if the tactic of the immediate attack is already known. I consider it very dangerous both for those who use it and for those who suffer it. The tactic is very simple (and funny), it consists in defeating the enemy before he can build an army. it can be explained in these steps 1) build the barrack as fast as possible 2) recruit 3 light infantry soldiers to send to every corner of the map to find out the position of the enemy 3) attack the enemy position with all your soldiers (most trooper infantry) if during the first attack you can not destroy at least the headquarters and the factory, the game can be considered lost. This is the video of a game in which I applied this tactic.   4. When just a normal custom map is launched through the CnCNet launcher, it uses the tileset as specified in the corresponding .mis file, correct? Is everything else in the .mis file ignored?
  5. Hey everyone. Im having a little problem with practice mode. My harvester replacements have stopped working. When your last harvester is destroyed, there is no reinforcement drop for a replacement, so I was wondering what file would have this data? I ask so I can replace it maybe with a back up. Thanks in advance.
