I don't remember how did I get around this, but you will find the solution in my Fremen Campaign mod. I think it is in my signature.
EDIT: I cannot see my signature, but you can find my very old mod here: https://d2kplus.com/fremen-campaign/
I'm here to feature a single mission based in my first level created.
Although the mission wasn't anything special, I though that maybe I could redo several things to the level and create a single map unaffiliated to any campaing at all, and creating a single mission to play. This mission is not especially hard; I played it placing buildings in different orders and the game was still beatable. However, your harverster can be destroyed if you don't pay too much attention.
The plot is all about the Emperor demanding too opresive taxes to the Atreides, which makes them start a war against the Emperor.
The mission have 3 main objetives, with 2 of them being accomplished in the firts 5 minutes or so. Then the tipical Base vs Base fight.
Is recommended to copy all the files in the folders (in case you don't have them before, besides the mission level file), and use the launcher and dune.exe updates from this forum (readme included with links to that files). Of course if you already have everything, then only the .ma/.mis/.ini files are needed.
Name: The Rebellion of Atreides

I've been trying to allow "none stealth fremen" to be build from Sietch
I've tried modding it with Tibed
I got as far as the build icon ingame but when you try to train a unit you get
"unit expects to arrive from unknown building type"
Is there any way i could get this towork?
I thought about that map today. If I'm remembering correctly, I had a bunch of AIs running. When I merged an AI, that AI started another company with the extra cash the AI earned when I bought him out. That is how the map got so large. It wasn't planned. I finally figured out that I needed a lot of cash to control each AI.
The way I won the game was being able to make enough money to buy out every AI at the same time and remove his ability to earn more cash to start another company.
TO stay on topic. I seldom updated locos. I ran them until they died. I did slow an old loco down. Kind of like me, I slowed down a lot as I got older.
