Additional Info » Sietch Tabr is under attack!!! This sietch is too important to fall into enemy hands commander that is why we are sending you to defend this sector. The identity, size, and disposition of the enemy forces is unknown because of there swift attack. Some Fremen camps have been abandoned and can be reactivated by an Engineer. It's up to you if you think you need assistance by the Fedaykin. We are confident that you will win the day and bring victory to our house. Good luck.
  2. Tileset » Arrakis
    Release » 2002-02-19
    Players » Four
    Map Size » n/a
Additional Info » A map with no tricks. Just a straight-forward, manage your units, build a lot of them and attack-map. Each base has lots of places they need to defend, so players who prefer to hole up will have a difficult time killing say... an aggressive Harkonnen player - in this map. Managing your spice flow is easy, however, as each base has several medium sized spice patches to rely on. Each spice field is protected by infantry rock or has been placed nearby a player starting zone.

  3. Tileset » Giedi Prime
    Release » 2002-01-28
    Players » Six
    Map Size » n/a
Additional Info » A very detailed layout of Giedi Prime, House Harkonnen's homeworld. Toxin pits divide six man-made islands, five of which are accessible by bridges. A fairly decent computer is required to play on this map; due to lots of buildings and fires, there are some high polygon counts, and Emperor's particle system is used to simulate a smoldering landscape, riddled with floating ash and haze.

    Release » 2003-06-01
    Players » Four
    Map Size » n/a
Additional Info » On this map all players start in same point. You must decide allies and which side you want before game starts. Move MVCs to bases and have at it. I changed how units interact with canyons and pits. In this maps your units WILL fall into the pits and canyons and must climb their way out while the enemy units can fire at the units trying to climb out. Changes the game quite a bit so be warned when your playing, And the mountains can be scaled by both infantry and vehicles. Thought I would mention these additions for anyone looking for something new.

    Players » Two
    Map Size » 104 * 152
Additional Info » A medium size map for two players. There's plenty of spice, but its easy for an opponent to interfere with any activity going on in the sand. Each rock platform has lots of room, but they be closed off only with difficulty. A good map to use infantry, and Ordos may use the Dustbowls to some advantage. A quick rush may work if the enemy isn't prepared.

  9. Tileset » Arrakis
    Release » 2001-10-13
    Players » Four
    Map Size » n/a
Additional Info » A four player map where the teams begin in the corners of the map. The entire map is packed very tightly together so there will be a lot of non-deliberate confontation, the entire centre of the map is an infantry-only rock, so all armoured units will be forced to go around, or be flown over. Holding the centre of the map will prove quite important, as any and all attacks must got within firing range of the rock first.

Additional Info » Welcome commander. This week while exploring the deserts of Arrakis, Spotter 02 on Carryall 017 found a spice patch worth millions of Solaris. The dune men believe that this huge, untouched spice patch to be the biggest strike they have seen in years in the open desert. The newly discovered spice lies within The Great Flats region in an area the Fremen call The Tears of Shai-Hulud. The name comes from the strange, tear like rock formations north and south of your base camp. It is believed by the indigenous peoples of Arrakis that Shai-Hulud formed the tears as a symbol for the suffering and hardships that the Freman have endured over the millennia. They consider the rocks a Karama, a miracle. However the rocks were formed, your main mission is to protect the region for spice mining. It is certain that the enemy knows of this find, so be on the watch for them. Engineers have prepared your base camp and set up a bridge system to for you to get around easier. Good luck commander and remember, the spice must flow.

Two man-made bridges allow the only vehicle access through the mountain, connecting the east and west sides of the map; however, infantry have additional mobility around the map edges. Also, keep an eye out for hidden mountain passes accessible only to infantry.

Additional Info » For weeks, raiders have been looting and pillaging settlements within the Shield Wall region. When our forces reach the battle site, the raiders would vanish into the open desert of The Funeral Plain. In order to stop these raids, your battalion will protect the small towns on the rocky slopes of Mt. Idaho, where we believe the raiders will strike next. When the raiders approach the settlements, wipe them out.

Additional Info » This is my first map, its a big'un. Great for long 2 vs 2 battles. I included plenty of spice to aid in a long battle and the should help eliminate rushing and allow you to get nice and entrenched, I've played it against the computer a couple times and I think its pretty fun. Slower computers WILL get bogged down if you take too many units through the temple area. Hope you enjoy email me if you like it.

Additional Info » Our scouts have learned that Smugglers are operating a secret base near the extinct volcanoes around the Southern Polar Region of Arrakis. Technology from House Atreides,Harkonnen,Ordos, and all the minor houses have been spotted at this base. We feel that the Smugglers are going to use technology from all the major and minor houses in hopes to seize control of Arrakis. The Smugglers could not be doing this alone, so there must be one or more house behind this plot, perhaps the emperor himself. Destroy the base and anyone who is helping the Smugglers. If need be, take control of any building on the base with an Engineer. Once the enemy has been destroyed, victory will be ours.

Additional Info » This is my third map. Went for a 4 player map this time. The map is BIG 256 * 256. It is pretty poly heavy, but runs pretty well on my smaller system (400 Celeron) so you shouldn't have too much trouble. I experimented with some different structures and played with color here. The idea for this is a big nuclear facility in the middle of the map. One of the worms got there and died. >:) Also, I made sure the AI was pretty tight. On a 4 player map with 3 computer players, they will hunt eachother down as much as you. They will also really cover the resources pretty well, and they fortify their positions. One thing I did differently was left a lot less room for infantry. I spread the infantry rock to make the game play a bit challenging. There is a neutral town I made just to see how it would look. Feel free to have battles there, its fun watching the stuff blow up :)

    Release » 2006-09-21
    Players » Eight
    Map Size » 256 * 256
Additional Info » Welcome commander and thanks for coming to this debriefing on short notice. A few days ago, the enemy landed a force here on Draconis IV. There ultimate goal was to control a starport around the Snake River province. We manage to save the starport; however, the enemy has retreated to the Snake River and is making a last stand their. No commander on Draconis seems to be able to wipe out the enemy stronghold. With your record of victories on Arrakis, we believe that you can destroy the entrenched army. Your mission is simple. Eliminate the invading army! Once the enemy army is destroyed, you can return your Arrakis post. Good hunting commander.

Additional Info » A once beautiful Arrakeen City now lies in ruins after the devasting war with the Harkonnens. Surrounded by rocks, the citizens had a sense of security until the smugglers introduced Atomics to the Baron. Just outside of the natural walls of this city is a treasure of Spice. Scouts have also found numerous crates left behind with many helpful goods inside. A good infantry map with plenty of resources and land to build on. This is Lisa's first SOLO map. Let her know how you like it. -Timm

Additional Info » There are a couple of things I don't like about this map, and I may redo it if people think its fun. These are mostly just look and feel issues but do not affect gameplay. Its basically a 1 on 1 map, you can play against the computer. I played against the computer and found it moves well throughout the map but doesn't expand as much as I would like. The dustbowl looks weird, not sure why, I will research and fix it on my next map. I did this map because I haven't seen anything like it, and I really wanted something a bit different. The oasis in the center of the map is a really good advantage, but don't ignore the other sturctures, controlling them can help you give some serious pain to your opponents. I hope everyone enjoys the map, and please email with any weirdness you may encounter.

The other houses plan to assemble there warheads here on Arrakis, travel to Kaitain, and then use atomics to rain down death and reduce to ashes the surface of the planet. We plan to stop them here by sending your battalion to the open wastelands of The Great Flat for a twilight assault. What happened to Salusa Secundus must not happen to Kaitain commander! Go and distroy the enemy and save the Imperial Capital.
